• Weather Channel to check the weather in other states where his children live.
• Yahoo Finance to check the stock market.
• Zagat for restaurant reviews when they travel.
• Translate to translate letters from English to German to communicate with relative.

• FaceTime for video chats with family.
• Apple News app – just starting to use.
• iBridge Baron 3 – $19.99 – play bridge against the computer or users around the world.

• Line – free voice, video calls, and messages with others with the app.
• Facebook – to see family photos, check your privacy settings to limit notifications.
• Facebook Messenger for texting to Facebook friends.

Hope

• 3M Cloud Library – read library books and keep synced across devices.
• Kindle app – syncs across all devices
• Overdrive – for audio books from the library or download to Kindle.
• Evernote – serves as a database for all types of content.
• Scannable – scans very well using the iPhone and can be stored in Evernote.
