Since so many Apple iPad users want help with specific issues, the November meeting will be devoted to Q & A for all you Newbies and Novices. In fact, every other month we will do the same thing. Join us on November 16, 2017, in the Charlestown Square Classroom 116 from 1:00 p.m. to 2:00 p.m.
Betty Brown Young will be showing us how to make a book from your photos on your iPad and your Mac. She recently went through the process using the web-based Shutterfly so it is fresh in her mind. Betty is a teacher that will walk us through the process. She invites us to do it along with her as she details the steps.

The meeting covered, “What is a Podcast?”
a digital audio file made available on the Internet for downloading to a computer or portable media player, typically available as a series, new installments of which can be received by subscribers automatically.
The Overcast app is recommended over the Apple Podcast app because of the larger area for the play and pause controls. It is a free app with controls for speed and podcasts are synced between devices. Overcast has curated a list of recommended podcasts as well as categories of podcasts. NPR and PBS have several podcasts for many of your favorite radio programs. We explored the variety of podcast categories that are available. Google is a great way to discover recommended podcasts.
